Auto-correct and Contractions in iOS 7

We’ve all been there - typing an email in iOS and auto-correct steps in. It was rough for a few years and even has a handful of funny websites dedicated to the accidentally embarrassing auto-corrects. Over the years, it’s matured and now (for the most part), it’s spot-on. iOS 7’s auto-correct has made some big improvements including being able to group a few words together to check the context. One area that it runs afoul is with contractions when a similar non-contracted word exists. For instance: well and we’ll. shell and she’ll. hell and he’ll. The fix is simple, however. if you’re trying to type we’ll, it won’t add the apostrophe for you. All you have to do is add an extra l at the end and it will know you’re trying to type we’ll and fix it for you.
