The phone’s ringing and the caller ID tells you it’s that salesperson calling again. You don’t want to buy what they’re selling and you don’t want to come off sounding like a jerk so maybe it’s best for everyone if you just ignore the call, right? Wrong! As a salesperson myself, I’m telling the world – I’d much rather have a customer pick up the phone and tell me “no thanks” rather than having to attempt to call them back every so often and waste valuable time. The call might be a bit awkward because no one enjoys saying no, but in the end, the salesperson will appreciate it.
